Why is Kaiser Permanente not letting me log in? ›

Make sure your internet connection is working. Check the “About” section under your browser's “Settings” menu to see if your browser is up to date. Clear your browsing history, cache, and cookies.

When you set up your member access, you will be given the choice of getting your password immediately or having a temporary password mailed to the address we have on file. To get your password immediately, you will need to verify your identity using our online process.

This ID is called the National User Identifier (NUID). The NUID is intended to be the one and only ID that you will eventually use to access all KP computer systems, eliminating the need to remember multiple sets of credentials.

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it online. In most cases, we will send you a one-time passcode to the email address we have on file for you. Please don't close the page where we prompt you to enter the passcode or you'll need to start the process again.
